What are the DSST Exams?

The DSST exams are tests designed to give you access to educational credits, without having to take college courses. They are available to those within the armed sources, in order to officiate the knowledge gained during service.

You can take your DSST exams using certain websites, but they are also available through the military. Most bases will have an educational center where they will provide you with a list of available credits, which you can test for.

Why Take Your DSST Exams?

The armed forces will prepare you for many things, and you will learn a lot during your time of service. But these do not amount to credits, which can be applied to a degree. In order to prepare you to move onto college, and so a full degree, you will want to take the DSST of your choice.

What Can You Do With a DSST?

This will depend, ultimately, on what credit you want, and what you plan to do after the military. There are currently 37 different options available, including math, social sciences, physical sciences, business, and information technology. These are only a few of the choices you have.

The DSST exams are important for anyone who has military experience. It will allow you to take that time and turn it into a life long career, to give you and your family the security you need. It is a great opportunity to take advantage of the many opportunities the military extends to our soldiers.
